How to Care for Your Terrarium

    Avoid Direct Sunlight

Direct sunlight may increase the temperature in your terrarium and create an environment that is unstable for your plants.

Grow lights or indirect light near a window are best.

    Water Only as Needed

As your plants grow, they will draw up the water from the soil. You may notice the soil is a lighter color, or the leaves are wilting.

Add small amounts of distilled or fresh rain water just until soil is moist again.

    Condensation Inside Your Terrarium

Condensation is a sign of too much moisture or too much heat.

Remove the lid for a few hours to a day to allow excess moisture to escape.
